Rules and Regulations of The Press of Atlantic City 2016 Fishing Contest
1.Fish must be caught on rod, reel and line in waters in or adjacent to Atlantic, Cape May, Ocean and Cumberland Counties.
2.Assistance to rod or line will disqualify a catch, except that a captain or member of a crew on a boat may hold the leader while the fish is being gaffed or netted.
3.Fish to be entered in the contest must be weighed on certified scales in the presence of a witness.
4.There is no charge to enter a fish into contest.
5.Entries must be submitted online or mailed within 10 days after catching the fish. Online entries can be submitted to PressContests.com. Paper entries can be mailed to The Press of Atlantic City Contest, PO Box #125, Linwood, NJ 08211. Bait and tackle shops will be contacted to verify entry.
6..All fish eligible for awards must be caught between May 9, 2016 and October 31, 2016.
6.Awards will not always be determined by heaviest fish in weight. Judges will determine winners based on quality of catch in addition to heaviest fish. The decision of the judges is final.
7.Employees of The Press and contest judges are not eligible for prizes, but can be listed in the records.
8.The best catch of each category below will receive a $50 gift certificate to Tackle Direct. The overall best catch of the season will be awarded a $100 certificate to Tackle Direct.

9.By participating in the contest, winners consent to use of their name and/or likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
10.By participating in this contest, winners agree to hold The Press of Atlantic City, its affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, advertisers harmless from all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind that winner may have arising from acceptance of said prize, including without limitation, personal injuries, death or property damage. All entries become the property of The Press of Atlantic City and the sponsor(s) and will not be returned or acknowledged. Entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of The Press of Atlantic City and sponsor(s).
11.The Press of Atlantic City and/or its contractors may solicit participants by mail and /or phone.
