List specific examples or activities that demonstrate how they have gone above and beyond in our community. Be sure to provide your name, address, and telephone number.

An individual can only be nominated by a person one time. However, you can nominate as many different individuals as you like.
The winner of the 2019 Giving Back Award will be based on the following: involvement, achievements, innovation, contributions, and impact on the community. A selection committee will choose the finalists and then public voting will run February 20 - March 3, 2019. Registered Users can vote once a day for the duration of the voting period.
Negative comments about any nomination will not be accepted or tolerated.
If you do not have a computer to complete a nomination, you can fill out a form at the front desk at the Press Business Building located at 1000 West Washington Avenue in Pleasantville, NJ. You can also mail to the aforementioned address attention Sandy Reed, Marketing Coordinator.
The winning individual will be featured in an article in The Press of Atlantic City on March 6, 2019. They will also receive an engraved plaque naming them as the Giving Back Award winner.
The Press reserves the right to have final say in choosing the winner and takes input received from the public and selection panel as guidance.
The winner will be notified by phone the week of March 3, 2019.
The Press reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
Employees of The Press of Atlantic City, BH Media Group, our respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible to make a nomination.
Participants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to us the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Award.
The Press reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Award, including information provided in nomination forms, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

Each winner, by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize.

All results posted are unofficial until winner responds to notification.
This award program is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
