Recognizing a for-profit business
that went above and beyond in 2014.
George Bailey’s character in “It’s a Wonderful Life” is a selfless local banker known for
supporting and helping his community and The Bailey Award is based on this concept.
It is meant to recognize an area business that has gone above and beyond
to make a difference in our community.
NOMINATIONS ACCEPTED UNTIL SUNDAY, DECEMBER 14TH, AT MIDNIGHT.
HOW THE CONTEST WORKS
1. Register by clicking the tab above.
2. Once you're registered you can begin your nomination by clicking on the submission tab.
3. Tell us why you consider this business to be such an outstanding citizen and how
they have made contributions to the community. List specific examples or activities that
demonstrate how they have gone above and
beyond their call of duty. Feel free to upload
pictures or any other supporting materials.
4. A business can be nominated more than once by different people. In fact, the more times
a business is nominated the better it looks for them!
HOW THE WINNER IS CHOSEN
Only the past 5 recipients of the Bailey Award vote on who should
receive the honor for 2014 and they are listed below. Each company receives 10 votes to be
used however they like. All 10 votes can be cast for 1 nomination or the votes can be split up.
The winning business will be featured in an article in The Press on Christmas Day.
